Friday, Friday

Did this week fly by for anyone else? I seriously cannot believe it's Friday, although I'm definitely not complaining.

Let's get to this week's 5...

//one//
Sparkle, Our Elf on the Shelf, was a few days late but finally arrived on Wednesday. He usually brings a little gift with him when he comes and this year he brought matching Christmas pajamas. Ben LOVES pjs so he was thrilled and Jack was beyond himself with the elf. We let him touch him initially and now he doesn't understand why he can't play with him. The struggle is real.
(notice our boxes from black friday? the ups guy hates us)

Speaking of things Jack can't touch, he's also obsessed with baby Jesus. Everyday it's "baby," "baby." The nativity set was given to us from J's grandma so I'm a little protective and don't want it to get broken. Guess I'll be making a trip to Toys R Us to pick up the Little People nativity set. Do any of you have one of these?

I plan on making Natasha's Korean Beef this weekend. I'm a little intimidated, but it looks too good not to try.

We got our pictures from our photo session last weekend and I had the hardest time deciding on which ones to put on our Christmas card. I'll post more next week, but he's another sneak peek.

//five//
I officially put away all the pumpkin and other fall related scents and busted out the holiday candles. I LOVE Winter from Bath and Body Works. I know I've said it before, but I think BBW candles smell stronger and last longer than Yankee.

Have a wonderful weekend!!

  2. I popped over from The Farmer's Wife link-up. Your family pictures are fantastic! And we have that nativity set and it has been loved on adoringly by all four kid. It's definitely worth it. We also have a wooden one that I let them play with.

    1. Thanks for stopping by! It was a miracle that we got a picture of all of us looking at the camera at the same time. The wooden nativity scene is a great idea...I may just have to get both!
