Five on Friday {Hello Fresh}

I'm mixing it up from my usual Friday post and sharing with you guys my recent experience with Hello Fresh. It seems like I'm one of the last people on earth to try their meals and I'm not sure what took me so long. I take that back. My type-A personality may have had a few concerns (um, meat sent through the mail) so when Hello Fresh offered to send me some meals to try it was a no brainer and boy am I so glad I did. You know who else is glad? My husband. As he stood over the sink scrapping the last bits of food out of the bowl and into his mouth. If your spouse hoarding all the leftovers isn't confirmation enough, here are my 5 reasons why you need to try Hello Fresh.

One. Organized Meal Boxes
I couldn't tell you how happy it made my heart to open the box and see each meal was in it's own individual box. No rummaging through a big box and trying to figure out which ingredients go with what meal. We decided to try the Sesame Beef Tacos first and were able to slide the other two meal boxes easily into the fridge.

Two. Variety of Meals Offered
 I'll be honest, I was really worried that I wouldn't like most of the meals you can choose from. But have no fear, even a somewhat picky eater like myself found TONS of meals I wanted to try. And my favorite part about their meal choices is that they add 10 new recipes each week. I'm lucky if I try one new recipe a month on my own. I'm already drooling over next week's menu choices.

Three. Everything is included
Even things like oil and garlic powder. It's the little details people.

Four. Easy prep with quality ingredients.
It's amazing how much fun cooking can be when you have everything you need prepped, measured, and ready to go without having to do all the work. Duh! And can I tell you how shocked I was to find the beef was actually better quality than the meat I had just bought from my local grocery store that weekend. It was also still super cold thanks to 2 ginormous ice packs and a thermal bag which instantly erased my worries about meat being shipped in a box.

Five. Time for more important things.
This is my absolute favorite thing about Hello Fresh. Because I'm not spending an hour in the kitchen prepping and cooking dinner, I get to spend that time doing other things. Like trying to hide from one wild Ninja Turtle.
